In compliance with the Electronic Transaction Act 2063, all platform fees are disclosed transparently before any transaction is completed. Buyers pay no fees — ever.

Example Calculation

If you sell a jacket for Rs. 2,000:

Sale price: Rs. 2,000
Platform commission (5%): − Rs. 100
Payment gateway fee (1.5%): − Rs. 30
You receive: Rs. 1,870

Fees are deducted before payout. VAT may apply if seller is VAT-registered under IRD Nepal.

Payment Gateway Compliance

All digital payments on Vesh Nepal are processed through Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB)-licensed payment service providers — eSewa and Khalti. We do not handle cash or unregulated payment channels.

Tax Obligations

Sellers are responsible for their own tax compliance under Nepal's tax laws. See our PAN & Tax Info page for guidance on IRD registration and seller tax obligations.

Fee Changes

Vesh Nepal will provide 30 days' written notice before any fee increases, in compliance with Consumer Protection Act 2075. Existing listings will not be subject to a fee increase mid-listing period.
