Restricted Items

The following items may not be listed on Vesh Nepal. These restrictions are based on Nepal's Customs Act 2064, Consumer Protection Act 2075, and our platform policies to maintain a safe, legal marketplace.

Absolutely Prohibited

Listing any of the following will result in immediate removal and account suspension. Serious cases may be reported to Nepal Police or relevant authorities.

Counterfeit or fake goods of any brand
Stolen items or items of unknown provenance
Items made from protected wildlife (ivory, fur from endangered species)
Military uniforms, police uniforms, or government insignia
Items with hate speech, extremist content, or illegal imagery
Any item banned under Nepal Customs Act 2064 (Schedule 1)

Not Permitted on Vesh Nepal (Fashion Scope)

Vesh Nepal is a fashion-only marketplace. The following are outside our scope:

Electronics, gadgets, or accessories (non-fashion)
Food, beverages, or perishables
Medicines, cosmetics, or beauty products
Furniture or household goods
Books, media, or software
Vehicles or vehicle parts
Animals or animal products
Real estate or services

Restricted Clothing Items

Requires Disclosure

Items with significant stains, tears, or alterations — must be clearly disclosed
Items that have been repaired — repair must be described
Items sold as "as-is" — condition must be clearly stated

Not Allowed

Undergarments (bras, underwear, socks) — hygiene reasons
Swimwear that has been worn
Items contaminated with mould, pests, or biohazards
Items not in a wearable or usable condition

Reporting a Prohibited Listing

If you see a listing that violates these rules, click the Report button on the listing. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
